It’s great to have a bigger gas tank so to speak .25% more storage of electric energy is a great thing. Obtaining a spare battery is great. But the company didn’t advertise the 15 (standard for the m-3 )and 20AH are not interchangeable. The rail they sit into is not compatible with both. I’d been asking for a jumper of sorts. If you had a jumper .. a12-14 inch cord with male and female ends , a spare battery no matter the AH or dimension if it were in the basket or on the rack , could be utilized
A 12” extension cord male to female would solve the problem. What good is a spare battery if you would need to replace the rail that holds the battery in place? Imagine trying to swap the rail out every time you want to use the backup battery! Out on the bike path with little washers and screws ? No thanx
I have McGivered a solution but will still look for the parts to assemble a jumper cord for my spare battery.
You aren’t told this problem exists and they have no answer how to easily solve it. They happily took almost 600$ for the battery. Shipped it after an extended wait and did provide a longer rail to swap out . If you do change the rail the original battery won’t fit. If you slide the new battery on it won’t lock and a six hundred dollar battery isn’t secure

This is my first E-bike, and I have to say, I'm impressed with the performance and design. I like how they kept it simple, and to keep the cost down, like the cable brakes (no oil leakage, etc). I upgraded my tires, 26x4 to anti-goat head, and metal pedals w/better cleats so my shoes are less likely to slip off. I us the bike basically as a manual or manual with assist, setting 1 (comes handy at intersections); After 20 miles or more, at times, I will use the E-Bike Throttle, which goes pretty fast, at least for me, to get home since I'm tired by then. I really like the head light and auto rear light/brake features which I always have on for my daily errands. I would highly recommend this E-bike; it's Strong, Simple, Reliable, and Fun. 27 days later I have my M3 2nd battery, I just love my M3, but have patience.

Very pleased with this bike . Assembly was not bad . The screws for the rack were difficult. The battery has held up well . It came with the 15ah . I have gotten great distance with this battery. I did order the 20ah battery as an upgrade and will use the 15ah as a spare. Overall the bike is well made. I would suggest they upgrade the braking system to hydraulic. Excellent bike for the price range .
